We are a small family from Western Queensland. We home school our children and work the land together producing wool, lamb and beef. We are passionate about caring for our land and producing clean, chemical free protein.

Anna has suffered from fibromyalgia/ chronic fatigue/mercury poisoning for a number of years. As part of her journey, she has put a lot of time into studying the toxic effects of chemicals from our environment and the food chain, and how to eliminate them from our systems. She soon realized the benefits of chemical free protein as part of a healthy diet. At Mitchell Grass Meats, we have established a direct link between producer and consumer, bypassing the middle men along the way. We like our consumers to be confident of the practices used in the producing/storing of our meat. We appreciate constructive feedback and are proud to say that all our customers to date have been more than pleased with their meat packs.

Our customers appreciate the nutritional value, quality and flavor of grass fed chemical free meat. Many of our customers have allergies to the chemicals or grains used in conventional meat production. Others simply enjoy the flavor of beef and lamb that tastes like real meat!

We sell our meat directly to individuals in bulk packs. This means we have minimal meat wastage. The meat is fresh – not frozen - and the cuts are labeled in plastic bags. We package the meat very simply to keep the cost/kg down. It is delivered from a refrigerated van, packaged in a brown cardboard box. This method ensures minimal packaging time and reduces the impact on the environment from excess waste.
